"The Center for Faith and Children will support the local church as they nurture children’s faith by being a hospitable presence and inviting those who care about children’s faith formation to bridge theory and practice through encouraging children as disciples of Christ. In addition to expanding a view on children’s faith formation, the Center for Faith and Children will highlight themes of worship, prayer and early childhood faith formation through some of the following activities: -forming and facilitating learning cohorts to develop and implement strong strategies to nurture children’s faith, hosting speakers and conferences that focus on best practices in nurturing children’s faith -formation, providing resources including a website and podcast that will equip ministry leaders and parents with ways to deepen children’s religious experiences and faith formation, and supporting and -facilitating research in regards to children’s spirituality.
