Transitional Leadership Council of the Global Methodist Church

The Generations Project will partner primarily with the Florida Annual Conference which currently works with 140 congregations. The Florida Annual Conference will plan a “Tour of Innovation” to identify 5-8 models of doing intergenerational worship. By partnering with 12 congregations in the state of Florida, they will iterate on these models to create programs that that work in their contexts with special attention paid to children with special needs. These congregations will receive subgrants to fund their experiments. They will widely disseminate models to other churches across the denomination through various means. The Florida Annual Conference is especially eager to engage grandparents in this work.
