. As a multi-layered and multigenerational endeavor, the project's goal is to engage children and adults through needs assessment, training, events, and resources. Over five years, every church in the conference will receive resources to nurture children in worship and prayer practices based on a particular theme, including nature, music and art, our bodies, storytelling, and mission and community. Leaders at all churches in the conference will have access to online training and one-day events and then apply to participate in a year-long intensive cohort experience. Twelve churches will be selected each year for four years of the project and will each receive funding to implement new programs or research in their local settings with the goal of strengthening worship and prayer practices for children. The cohort experience will provide support for program design, implementation, data collection, collaboration, reflection, resource development, evaluation, training, and a celebration retreat.
