Latin American Bible Institute

Latin American Bible Institute College (LABI) will implement the Assessing, Developing and Promoting Intergenerational Prayer and Worship with Hispanic Children program. First, LABI will develop a new child-resiliency, prayer and worship assessment instrument to examine and understand the positive spiritual growth of children when they worship and pray in an intergenerational worshiping community. Second, the institute will gather up to 300 Hispanic congregational leaders from 75 congregations to share insights from their uses of the assessment tool and to explore new practices to help children learn to pray and to connect their worship experiences with family and daily life. From these conversations, LABI will develop curricula, training and a micro-certificate program for pastors, teachers and worship leaders to strengthen the spiritual growth of children through intergenerational church experiences.
