Discipleship Ministries

Discipleship Ministries will create the Growing in Grace Institute that will train and resource clergy and lay leaders to cultivate accessible worship practices that integrate all children - disabled and nondisabled - in intergenerational communities of inclusion and belonging. Program activities will center around two cohorts of approximately twelve people representing 6 small or rural congregations to support, encourage, and learn from contextual exploration and experimentation in nurturing children through anti-ableist worship. In addition, the program will offer four symposia intended to share program learnings with a wider audience of small church leaders.
