Center for Contemplative Justice

The project will gather a team of ten certified spiritual directors to provide quarterly spiritual direction experiences for over 100 families from fifteen different partner congregations on an annual basis for a period of three years. This project will develop resources to help congregations, faith leaders, and families integrate spiritual direction tools into ministry with children. Grant activities include forming a cohort of ministry leaders from fifteen denominationally diverse partner churches. A team of spiritual directors will be assembled to support this work. Each church will recruit 5 to 10 families to receive spiritual direction as a family unit. The project will also create a curriculum resource for churches and families to use in their ministry to children. This resource, along with insights gained from the project, will be published and shared broadly.
