Catholic Extension is educating children in the tenets of Catholicism and deepening their connection to spirituality and cultural roots. This will ensure that faith is lived and experienced within the context of community and family life. In partnership with La Familias Catechesis—a nonprofit that develops bilingual catechetical materials in English and Spanish for Hispanic parishes, congregations, and families—the program will carry out several key activities. These include training parish leaders and catechists to implement and sustain a variety of interactive faith-based programs. Initiatives will feature interactive museums focused on specific faith themes, liturgical calendars for Lent and Advent, and creative bilingual resources tailored to children. Additional offerings will include music, dance, and arts programs; culturally rooted religious games; and faith-based technological apps. Together, these efforts will help nurture a vibrant, intergenerational faith life grounded in prayer, cultural traditions, and community worship.
