Calvin Theological Seminary (CTS) will partner with twenty-four English and Spanish-speaking CRCNA congregations to reignite biblical fellowship that will nourish children’s spirituality through corporate spiritual practice of Bible study with a renewed understanding, empathy, and engagement. Congregations will be enabled with opportunities and resources to implement the Sunday DRILL – Dialogues that Re-Ignite Love and Learning in their Sunday School programs, and the expected outcome is a reignited fellowship of storytellers that fosters empathy and compassion among adults and children in corporate worship and prayer. Based on the congregational insights and experiences, CTS will create an instructional framework in English and Spanish that inspires and trains future congregations through 24 one-credit online courses.
