Bethel University

Bethel University (a university of the Missionary Church that serves over 1300 students annually) is partnering with local churches to develop and implement embodied worship and pray practices through the arts. Grant activities include establishing and facilitating a cohort of congregations to promote peer learning, networking, and collaboration. The program will also develop and implement a regular sequence of workshops and seminars focused on embodied worship experiences for local congregations and families. Additionally, a weekly arts experience will be offered on the university’s campus, providing children in the local community with opportunities for faith development and enrichment. Curricular resources will also be created to support congregations and families in enhancing children’s worship and prayer experiences.
