What is C.A.R.E.?
Children come to us with many differences. Regardless of any of these differences, all children should feel affirmed by God’s love and empowered by God’s Spirit. Why? Because all children are a gift from God. CARE for Children is a ministry of the A.M.E. Zion Church Christian Education Department that is committed to helping faith communities create a welcoming space for children to naturally explore their curiosity about God.

The CARE mission is accomplished through:
- Creativity to allow children to engage multisensory expressions of praise for God.
- Affirmations to help children build assurance in the promises of God.
- Representation to make sure children see themselves as created in the image of God.
- Experiences to help children recognize the presence of God.
