Threads Within

Threads Within supports families and congregations in weaving Christian faith into the everyday lives of families through connection, curiosity, and community. We equip churches and caregivers with practical, inclusive tools to nurture faith in children from infancy through early adolescence.

Threads Within offers cohesive support for both caregivers and ministry leaders through three primary resources:

A video-based formation series for parents and caregivers, grounded in mentoring and real-life storytelling, offering flexible and accessible pathways for practicing faith at home.

Integrated print, digital, and online resources that invite families into simple, meaningful Christian practices and shared spiritual experiences—adaptable to diverse family structures and rhythms.

Leader training tools—including short videos, guides, and workshops—to help ministry staff and volunteers build trusted relationships with families and confidently support faith formation beyond the church building.

These resources will be piloted in up to 150 congregations across the U.S., followed by six regional gatherings designed to deepen community learning, spiritual reflection, and long-term impact. This initiative continues the 60-year legacy of GenOn Ministries by centering intergenerational spirituality in the shared space between church and home—cultivating belonging, wonder, and discipleship for a new generation.
